Web design in Wimbledon

Give local customers a straightforward way to understand your business and contact you.

Your website might need to explain treatments, show the areas you cover or help someone request a quote from their phone. We plan the pages and contact options around those tasks before developing the visual design.

Make the local customer’s task clear

Abstract illustration of connections between a local business, its website and customers across a wider area.

A practice website needs to help someone understand the services and arrange an appointment. A trades business may need to explain its coverage and make calling from a phone easy. A professional firm may need to introduce the team before a customer is ready to enquire.

We start with those tasks. They guide the navigation, page content and forms, so the project has a defined purpose before colours and layouts are reviewed.

Plan the pages before the design

01

Services and contact routes

Visitors should be able to check what you offer, whether you can help and what to do next. We plan separate pages where a service needs its own explanation, with suitable calls, bookings or enquiry forms.

02

Location and coverage

If customers visit you, the site should explain the location and practical visiting information you provide. If you visit customers, it should describe the areas you cover without implying you have premises in each one.

03

Existing content

A redesign starts with a review of useful pages, search traffic and current URLs. We agree what to retain, improve or replace before the new site is built.

Build for phones, search and everyday editing

We consider readable text, contrast, keyboard navigation and labelled forms alongside the visual design. Service information and contact options need to remain easy to use on smaller screens.

Search structure is planned with the pages, headings and internal links. For a WordPress project, the editing approach is agreed so your team knows which content it can maintain after launch.

04 / Website projects

Agree the project before the build

We discuss content, functionality, who supplies the information and how reviews will work. The proposal sets out the pages, responsibilities and deliverables rather than leaving these to emerge during the build.

We then develop the design and website against that plan. Before launch, we review important pages, contact forms, mobile use and the relevant technical setup. A replacement site also needs its agreed redirects and migration checks.

05 / Website projects

Decide what happens after launch

Hosting, maintenance and further content work can be included under an agreed arrangement. You should know what support covers, how to request changes and which work would need a separate quote.

If you need to sell products online, we can discuss an Ecommerce website. Existing and new websites can also be considered for Hosting & Support.
